this was really really good.. i wasnt sure what i would think of this book. its not my normal genre of choice but the blurb sounded good and i enjoy this author and i am so glad i decided to try it because it was amazing. magic and sadness... love and anger.. so many spots i thought about going through my kindle and smacking someone haha.. it was wonderful and i cannot wait to see what is next.

so... alice winters is known for her humor and funny things going on.. this series is NOT that.. haha.. however this series is amazingly dark and interesting and fast paced. the characters are wonderful.. the author drags us into their world so we feel as if we are part of it.. and it is perfection. you do need to read book 1 in my opinion... i loved the danger.. the suspense and the love.. it was.. amazing!
