So.. I will start off by saying.. I probably should have read books 1&2 first BUT it wasn't completely necessary. I do think some of the emotions and issues would have made a little more sense had I. However that being said.. I understood what was going on.. I loved the characters. It was a very fast paced and interesting story. The writing by Hettie was superb. I didn't want to put it down because the storyline caught me.. it had a hold of my heart and I had to keep reading until it was over. It was truly an amazing story and I can't wait to read books 1 and 2 and any that come next.
